Every October, pink becomes more than just a color: it's a symbol of solidarity and hope for all those who are facing or have faced breast cancer. This year, Nohèm has decided to rally alongside the association Vivre comme avant. Their mission? To remind us that after illness, life goes on. And that it can be beautiful.
What is Vivre comme avant?
It's an association created by women who know exactly what it means to hear the words "you have breast cancer." Because they have lived through it, they know how to find the right gestures, the right words, the little smile that changes everything.
Their strength: listening and sharing. No grand speeches, just real moments of humanity. The association works in hospitals, organizes meetings, creates spaces for discussion... In short, it brings that extra soul that medicine cannot always provide.
Breast cancer in numbers (and why it concerns all of us)
According to the Cancer Panorama – 2025 edition published by Onco-AURA, breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women today:

In 2023, 61,214 new cases were diagnosed in France.

In 2022, 12,757 women died from it.

More than 913,000 people are living with a history of breast cancer.

Good news: thanks to screening and medical advances, the 5-year survival rate reaches 88%.
Behind these numbers are lives. Mothers, sisters, friends, colleagues... And it is for them that we are mobilizing.
Why we chose the Vivre comme avant association
Because their approach is deeply human. Because they remind us that after illness, there are still laughs, projects, travels, desires. Because their volunteers embody this message of hope, unfiltered, without taboo.
